What Sirat processes
When you plan a route, Sirat receives the origin and destination coordinates, optional place labels, departure time and the prayer and route preferences you choose. It uses them to calculate, restore and export that plan.
Nearby mosque requests contain a coordinate, radius and optional prayer, date, search or filter settings. Mosque search contains search text and filters. Prayer-time calculation contains a coordinate, date and calculation settings.
Why it is processed
This information is used only to provide the feature you requested, protect the service from abuse and diagnose privacy-safe operational failures. Sirat does not sell feature data, build advertising profiles or link journeys to an account history.
Storage and deletion
Plans and their materialised itineraries are encrypted and kept temporarily for no more than seven days so that the app can restore or export them. The app can delete a saved plan sooner. Nearby locations, searches and calculated prayer-time requests are not stored as a durable history.
Long-lived backups exclude temporary plan data. Operational logs do not contain coordinates, labels, search terms, query-bearing URLs, request or response bodies, raw plan identifiers, GPX files or API keys.
Routing and mosque data
Route calculation runs on Sirat-controlled infrastructure. Journey coordinates and labels are not sent to a third-party routing provider. Mosque and timetable information is served from a local mirror that is refreshed independently of your request.
Network protection
A privacy-bounded network source is used temporarily to apply fair rate limits. IPv4 sources are isolated individually and IPv6 sources are grouped by their rotating network range. This abuse-protection state expires within 24 hours and is not used for tracking.
Your choices
You can avoid optional place labels, delete a retained plan from the app and contact us about privacy or a deletion problem. Because Sirat has no user accounts, include only the minimum information needed to investigate. Never email route coordinates or an API key.
